Jonathan Emlet, volunteer for the American Lung Association of Pennsylvania, is hiking the Appalachian trail from Georgia to Maine during the spring and summer of 2005. The hike is more than 2,000 miles.
Jonathan, whose dad suffers from emphysema, wanted to dedicate his hike to his dad, Stanley, and others suffering from lung disease. From this, the idea of Steps for Stanley was born!
